Florence Magdalen Dunne & James Francis Cook

Florence Magdalen Cecilia Dunne married James Francis Cook (a printer) in St Ignatius, Richmond, Melbourne on 19 September 1914. James was the son of John Cook, a Turn-cock, and Mary Ann Merner .

Their usual residence was 4 Vivian Grove, Hawthorn (another Melbourne suburb) when James died in 1965 and Florence in 1971. (Florence's sister Mary Louisa also died there in 1965.)

Florence and James's death certificates list children Edward James (born 1915), Bernard Daniel (born about 1921) and Kevin Francis (born about 1927).

Teddy & Jack

I don't know who these folk are. My first thought was Teddy Cook visiting some other branch of the family, but the little I can see of him doesn't look much like young Mr Cook. Not to mention the fact that I can't match the handwriting with anyone else. However, I've put him here for want of any better place.

Wheat and a flooded river suggests somewhere up the Murray/Darling Basin.
Murdoch McKenzie was a farmer at Corowa on the NSW side of the Murray
at the time of his marriage to Maggie Dunne, but that was twenty-odd years
before these photos were taken.
