The Heaneys in Broxburn (and Alberta)

The Heaneys lived next door to Lena in Ross Terrace. (In fact, they were her landlords.)

None of these photographs has "Heaney" on the back, their identification is entirely guesswork but having decided on one, there is a resemblance between them which suggests they belong to the same family.

Having said that, there may be others which I have not identified and have placed them amongst the others.

There is no evidence to suggest that these two are Heaneys but I think they are.

Some Heaneys went to Alberta

562 "Dear Miss Dunne,
I take this poor means to thank you
for all that you did for me.
But if it should be my
luck to find you in the
same place when I come back
Well, I will try to thank
you in a more "pressing"
way. I hope you enjoyed
your C. O. Mary's dance and
had some little thoughts for me.
Send your photo please do you
know I would do as much
for you.       Ever yours Jim.

Why do I think these are Heaneys in Alberta?

In Autograph Book 2 there is a baggage label for P.J. Heaney.
Oh, and the car registration plate above
has "ALTA - 1912" down the sides.
