I did not know the connection with this family but it was clearly a long-standing one, from baby photos before 1920 to a family group in 1939. So I donned my deerstalker and went off to the Mitchell to consult the BMD Index for England and Wales. Luckily, from 1912, the birth index includes the mother's maiden name, in this case Keyes. Across to the marriages and look for a matching pair of Adamson and Keyes.
And there they were!

The marriage of Thomas J Adamson and Julia Keyes was registered in 1913 in Liverpool.
