003 "In promulgating your esoteric
cogitation or articulating superficial
sentimentalities and philosophical
or psychological observations
beware of platitudinous ponderosity.
Let your conversation possess a
clarified conciseness, compact
comprehensibleness, co-alescent
consistency & a concatenated
cogency."

"Remembrance

Think of me when you are happy
Keep for me one little spot
In the midst of your affections
Plant the sweet forget me not
You I love and will for ever
You may change but I will never
Though separation be our lot
Dearest forget me not"

The Retreat

Oh for a quiet retreat far away
From the maddening crowd of old seniors
Let us have peace just for to-day
Although we are only "little juniors"

The Retreat we found was dark
And we sat on the edge of a bath
But oh, the peace that was ours
In that strange dark secret bower.

We held our "At homes" there this week
While the door would persistently creak
And with bated breath we listened
Our eyes with expectation glistened

And out shoulders to the door we pressed
Who was it dared to disturb our rest?
Strange to say it was disturbed soon
But are we not to be excused.
