Pure Guesswork

I think these are all Broxburn photos, in some cases I think I know who they are, but lack the confidence of my convictions.

  • A family at home and on holiday
  • It may be that I have failed to recognise some photos with a Broxburn connection and have put them amongst the others.

    618 619

    310 424 - Morrison's Studios, Edinburgh - Order No. 85768 - 6
    "December 19th 1915"
Murty or Gus? (cf with Pat)

    507 508
    "14th May 1927"

426 - McLaren, Photographer, Broxburn 427 - Alec Roberts, Photographer, Piershill Studio, Edinburgh - Order No. 57069 385 - O. Davis, 15 Princes Street, Edinburgh
      "1916"

333 - J Chalmers Leslie [There is nothing to indicate
    the who, where or when,
    but that's Lena extreme left
    with the bike.]

    768 769 771

772 The "waterfall" is the overflow
from a sluice on the Union Canal
in the middle of the Almond Aqueduct.

    (Batch 9 112)

    802 803 804

    805 806

And the following have the same background, same pram, same child?

    809 810

These are from the same batch (4336) as the two above so I assume the same child with possibly Mrs Dowd?

    807 808

I'm almost convinced this is the same fence and gravel, but is it a different child or have the years passed?

    812 811

and these are from the same batch (3316) and look like the same girl.

    814 815 816

and she went her holidays to Millport. (Batch 6 137)

    817 818 819

    813 820
The shot on the right is a different batch (8454)
    and may not be Millport.
