Who would take photographs of Linlithgow Palace without other family members in shot? Only one.
So I looked in my slide collection and found some dated 24 October 1985, taken after a walk along the canal from Winchburgh.
These I have already scanned so can include here with little effort.

From the available evidence, it appears that I unloaded a part-used slide film from my camera,
loaded a Kodak 400 ASA print film for the anniversary celebrations which I then finished at Linlithgow
before reloading the slide film to take more shots of the palace.
