Mary Kelt was born about 1862 in Ireland to Ann Cassidy (c1837 - ) and Bernard Kelt, Railway Labourer ( - before 1881).
This is probably Mary and her mother in the 1881 census living on Steel Street [between Bank and Buchanan Streets], Dundyvan, Coatbridge in a house with one windowed room.

1881 On Saturday, September 17, Thomas McAloon and Mary Kelt were married at St. Patrick's R.C. Church after Publication according to the Forms of the R.C. Church. The marriage was registered No.150 at Coatbridge on September 19.
Thomas was a Bachelor, age 22, occupation Railway Labourer and usual residence 9 South Row, Summerlee. His parents are recorded as John McAloon, Iron Works Labourer and Isabella McAloon m.s. Martin (deceased).
Mary was a Spinster, gave her age as 19, occupation Domestic Servant and usual residence Steel Street, Coatbridge. Her parents are recorded as Bernard Kelt, Railway Labourer (deceased) and Annie Kelt m.s. Cassidy.
The celebrant was Thomas O'Reilly, R.C.C. and the witnesses were Patrick McCormick and Emma Barbour.

Sadly, Bernard died in 1890, aged 7 years.

Kilt [sic] and Thomas McAloon, Railway Labourer, who married on September 17, 1881 at Coatbridge. Her birth was registered No.721 at Coatbridge on July 13 by Thomas McAloon, Father, Present.
1890 Bernard McAloon (Single) died at 6h0m a.m. on Wednesday, October 1 at 14 Carrick Street, Coatbridge, age 7 years, of Acute Rheumatism, 5 days, Ricarditis, as certified by W.T. Browne, MBCM. His parents are recorded as Thomas McAloon, Coalminer and Mary McAloon m.s. Kilt [sic]. His death was registered No.472 at Coatbridge on the same day by Thomas McAloon, Father, Present.
