The marriage was registered No.13 in the District of Stranorlar in the Union of Stranorlar in the County of Donegal on January 14.
James was a Bachelor, gave his age as 26, occupation Labourer and usual residence Drumkeen. His father is recorded as Charles Conolly, Farmer.
Rebecca was a Spinster, gave her age as 26, occupation Labourer and usual residence also Drumkeen. Her father is recorded as Patrick Slevin, Farmer.
The celebrant was Bernard Kelly, P.P. and the witnesses were Cornelius Conolly and Michael Bonner.
The bride and groom made their marks, the witnesses signed.

The marriage was registered No.15 in the District of Stranorlar in the Union of Stranorlar in the County of Donegal on January 23.
Cornelius was a Bachelor, gave his age as 24, occupation Labourer and usual residence Drumkeen. His father is recorded as Charles Connelly, Farmer.
Margery was a Spinster, gave her age as 18, occupation Farmer's Daughter and usual residence Aughkeely. Her father is recorded as Patrick McMenamin, Farmer.
The celebrant was Rev. John Doherty, C.C and the witnesses were Michael Bonner, Farragans and Mary McMonagle, Stroangibbagh.
Mary made her mark, the others signed.

1879 Charles Connelly was born at 10h30m p.m. on Tuesday, September 30 at Bellside, Shotts Parish to Marjory Connelly m.s. McMenamin and Cornelius Connelly, Quarryman who married on January 24 [sic], 1876 at Convoy, Donegal. His birth was registered No.80 at Cleland on October 11 by Cornelius Connelly, Father.
[All the townlands are in the (civil) parish of Convoy in the Poor law Union of Stranorlar in the Barony of Raphoe. Convoy is about 7 miles NE of Stranorlar and 4 miles west of Raphoe. 1878 Bridget Connelly was born at 2h0m p.m. on Sunday, August 4 at Bellside, Shotts Parish to Rebecca Connelly m.s. Slavin and James Connelly, Quarryman who married in January 1876 at Raphoe, Donegal. Her birth was registered No.82 at Cleland on August 19 by Rebecca Connelly, "her X mark", Mother.
1880 Susan Connelly was born at 9h30m a.m. on Friday, July 16 at Bellside, Shotts Parish to Rebecca Connelly m.s. Slavin and James Connelly, Quarryman who married in January 1876 in Donegal. Her birth was registered No.61 at Cleland on July 24 by James Connelly, "his X mark", Father.
Since I cannot find a birth for Annie Connelly about 1881, Susan disappears after 1881 and Annie appears in 1891 age 10, I wonder if Susan and Annie were the same person.

Slavin and James Connolly, Quarryman who married on February 14 [sic], 1876 at Raphoe, Co. Donegal, Ireland. His birth was registered No.28 at Cleland on March 24 by James Connolly, "his X mark", Father, Present.
1888 James Connolly (Single) died at 3h0m p.m. on Monday, May 7 at Auchinlee, Shotts Parish, age 1 year 2 months, of Marasmus after 2 months, as certified by James Duncan, MBCM. His parents are recorded as James Connolly, Quarryman and Rebecca Connolly m.s. Slavin. His death was registered No.11 at Cleland on the following day by James Connolly, "his X mark", Father.
1891 April 5 The family were living at No.22 in the Village of Auchinlee (just north of Bellside) in a house with one windowed room.
