This is part of an overview of all the digital photos I've taken since getting a digital camera in 2005.
The originals are on this disc (G) and on the backup discs.

It's a long story. In 2013, I decided to discard the old artificial tree (acquired from St Joseph's about 15 years earlier), so I went to B&Q looking for a (hopefully reduced price) replacement on the 23rd. Not an artificial tree to be found but they were selling off real trees for £1, and lights at half price. So, I bought some. Talking to Karen on Christmas Day, she had a tale of woe regarding their tree, bought early and dropped all its needles before Christmas so they ended up with an unsatisfactory artificial tree. A swap was agreed. And so, their tree is in my window this year, where it is clearly deficient in size - it must have looked ridiculous in their house.

It's that wee solitary flower again, plus some daffodils.

I went for a sail to Brodick (£29 concession), paused to take a couple of photos at Glasgow Cross and took a few of a fine sunset on the way back up the river.

16 May - Twa craws sat upon a tree - not quite the back garden but taken from the bedroom window.

26 May - A bonny wee bush.

13 July - The back of the house and the unknown bush that came out of a packet of bee-friendly seeds.

18 July - After years of neglect, I decided to attack the moss in the back green. A lot of work for a slight improvement.

On my way home from Karen's, I stopped to take these photos from the layby above Aberdour.
The
views are good but difficult to frame photos.

I haven't seen one like this before or since. My best guess is a yellowhammer,
but it might be a
lost juvenile willow warbler.

A trifle on Friday, 21st. There must have been a pre-Christmas gathering,
probably because Karen
and/or Fiona couldn't make Christmas Day.
