Mary born in 1855 at Omoa Iron Works, married Patrick McNee in 1878, last sighting 1911. Catherine born in 1857 in Carfin, last sighting 1881. John (1) born in 1860 at Sandyhills, Shettleston and died there in 1861. John (2) born in 1862 at Sandyhills, Shettleston, last sighting 1881. plus another boy who died before 1855.

c1847 Ann was born in Ireland.
1871 Catherine Woods (Illegitimate) was born at 8h0m p.m. on Sunday, October 29 at Square, Sandyhills, Shettleston, Lanark to Ann Woods, Cotton Mill Worker. Her birth was registered No.226 at Shettleston on November 18 by Ann Woods, "her X mark", Mother.

1848 James Woods was born on Saturday, April 8 to Daniel Woods and Catharine McGuire and baptised on May 22 in the parish of St. Margaret's, Airdrie by Fr. D. McVale with sponsors John Gulman and Catharine Murty.
1850 Daniel Wood was born on Tuesday, May 7 to Daniel Wood and Catherine McGuire and baptised on July 3 in the parish of St. Margaret's, Airdrie by Fr. J. Buckley with sponsors William McGuire and Bridget McGuire.
Sadly, this Daniel must have died before the second Daniel was born about 1854.

Mary was Catherine's seventh child, and the couple had 3 boys and 1 girl living and 2 boys deceased.

James was a Bachelor, gave his age as 21 [he was 22], occupation Coal Miner and usual residence Sandyhills, Shettleston Parish. His parents are recorded as Daniel Woods, Coal Miner and Catherine Woods m.s. McGuire.
Margaret was a Spinster, gave her age as 22, occupation Bleachfield Worker and usual residence Middlequarter, Shettleston Parish. Her parents are recorded as William Kerr, Coal Miner and Bridget Kerr m.s. McLaughlin.
