John was a Bachelor, gave his age as 23, occupation Coal Miner and usual residence Springbank, Shotts. His parents are recorded as James Keatings, Coal Miner and Mary Keatings m.s. Daly.
Elizabeth was a Spinster, gave her age as 20, occupation Domestic Servant and usual residence Southfield, Cambusnethan. Her parents are recorded as James Hannigan, Pig Iron Lifter and Ann Hannigan m.s. Gillies.
