James, born March 1851 in Glasgow who can be presumed dead before the 1861 census.

Cecilia, born April 17, 1860 in Old Monkland, Lanarkshire, who is the subject of our immediate interest.
Bridget, born March 27, 1863 in Shettleston, Lanarkshire.
Mary, born December 3, 1865 in Shettleston, Lanarkshire.

In the census of 1851, John is recorded as a Coal Pit Labourer residing at 105 King Street, Glasgow.
