1902 On Thursday, July 24, Francis Carty and Elizabeth McGeachie were married at the Roman Catholic Chapel, Stane [St. Patrick's] after Publication according to the Forms of the Roman Catholic Church. The marriage was registered No.33 at Stane on the following day.
Francis was a Bachelor, gave his age as 22, occupation Coal Miner and usual residence Tarbothie, Cam'nethan. His parents are recorded as Francis Carty, Coal Miner and Margaret Carty m.s. McCaffery.
Elizabeth was a Spinster, gave her age as 22, occupation Domestic Servant and usual residence Stane Place, Cam'nethan. Her parents are recorded as John McGeachie, Coal Miner and Mary McGeachie m.s. McInulty (deceased).
The celebrant was Denis McBrearty and the witnesses were Michael Carty and Theresa McGeachie.
