Eliza Boyle was born in Ireland about 1847 and probably died in 1906 in Shettleston.
They married in Co. Tyrone, Ireland in 1863, according to Patrick's birth registration. It would appear that they came to Glasgow, Patrick was born and they then returned to Ireland, coming back to Scotland at some point in the 1890s. (I failed to find them in a census before 1901.)

1865 Patrick Taggart was born at 10h p.m. on Saturday, April 1 at 19 Marshall Street, Glasgow to Michael Taggart, Labourer and Eliza Taggart m.s. Boyle who married in November 1863 (?) in County Tyrone. His birth was registered No.523 at Glasgow (District of Calton) on May 1 by Eliza Taggart, "her X mark", Mother.
1897 On Wednesday, September 29, Patrick Taggart and Mary Colvin were married at St. Paul's, Shettleston. [See Section TG-7-1 for further information.]
1901 March 31 The family were living in Lightburn Cottages in a house with 4 windowed rooms.

James was a Bachelor, gave his age as 28, occupation Brickwork Labourer and usual residence Lightburn, Shettleston. His parents are recorded as David McAllister, Farmer and Mary McAllister m.s. Hendry, both deceased. James made "his X mark" on the registration.
Mary Ann was a Spinster, gave her age as 27, no occupation recorded and usual residence Lightburn, Shettleston. Her parents are recorded as Michael Taggart, Pig Dealer and Elizabeth Taggart m.s. Boyle.
The celebrant was Peter O'Connor D.D. and the witnesses were Hugh Taggart and Mary Gormley.
1906 Elizabeth Taggart, married to Michael Taggart, Hawker died at 2h0m p.m. on Friday, June 8 at 8 William [now Ardholm] Street, Shettleston, age 55 years, of Cerebral Congestion, 9 days, as certified by George Wilson M.B.Ch.B. Her parents are recorded as Peter Boyle, Flax Dresser (deceased) and Margaret Boyle m.s. McCrossan. Her death was registered No.219 at Shettleston on the same day by Michael Taggart, Widower, Present.
1909 Michael Taggart, Hawker, widower of Elizabeth Boyle, died at 9h0m p.m. on Tuesday, November 23 at 18 William Street, Shettleston, age 65 years, of Chronic Bronchitis, 1 year, as certified by David Longwill M.B.Ch.B. His parents are recorded as Hugh Taggart, Farmer and Catherine Taggart m.s. O'Kane, both deceased. His death was registered No.358 at Shettleston on the following day by Patrick Taggart, Son.
