Robert was resident in New [or Near] Grannagh and Sarah in Artikelly.
The celebrant was Fr. Edward McKenna and the witnesses were William Hemphill and Mary Kerr.

1870 Alexander Allison was born at 4h0m a.m. on Tuesday, October 11 at 7 Brown's Square, Langloan to Sarah Allison m.s. Madden [sic] and Robert Allison, Furnace Labourer, who married in September 1860 in County Derry, Ireland. His birth was registered No.644 at Coatbridge on October 26 by Robert Allison, Father.
1871 April 2 The family were living at Brown's Square, Langloan, Coatbridge in a house with 3 scholars and one windowed room. Lots of families share this address, there are no house numbers.

Her birth was registered No.5 at Coatbridge on January 2, 1874 by Robert Allison, Father, Present.
1875 Sarah Allison, Married to Robert Allison, Assistant Furnace Keeper, died at 1h0m p.m. on Wednesday, April 14 at 18 South Row, Summerlee, age 35 years, of Typhoid Fever, 1½ months, Bronchitis, one month, as certified by R. Wilson, Surgeon. Her parents are recorded as John Maddigan, Farm Labourer, and Eliza Maddigan m.s. Stewart. Her death was registered No.176 at Coatbridge on the same day by Robert Allison, Widower, Present.
1881 April 3 The family were living at 85 Long Row, Gartsherrie, Coatbridge in a house with two windowed rooms.
